5 Manchester Cafés To Try For National Dessert Day

It’s National Dessert Day so we’ve put together a list of our top 5 fave Manchester cafés for you to try. Whether you’re craving cookies or you’re dreaming of doughnuts, there’s something for everyone to try. These Manchester cafés have been personally tried ‘n tested by the blogger team so we know what we’re talking about. All of the Manchester cafés on our list are centrally located so don’t worry if you’re not a Manny local, you won’t have too much trouble finding ‘em.

Cocoa Cabana

This café/chocolatier also doubles as a cocktail bar so you can take your dessert day right through to evening antics. We’d recommend the Biscoff hot choc with a rocky road for a seriously indulgent treat from one of the best cafes in Manchester.

When it comes to vegan cafés in Manchester, nowhere is better than Vertigo. We love their red velvet latte with a stack of lotus pancakes to really take cheat day to the next level. If you want something savoury too, they’ve got a stunning brunch menu.

Siop Shop

If you’re looking for a little slice of Wales in Manchester, this is the place for you. We’re a sucker for the iced coffee and a crème brûlée doughnut, but beware that the doughnut offerings change weekly so expect the unexpected from this Manchester café.

Ohayo Tea

This cute Manchester café is best known for its Boba tea but if you want something a bit more substantial they’ve got you covered! Our go-to is the earl grey milk tea sundae topped with an instagrammable Shiba Inu shaped waffle.

Idle Hands

This café in Manchester city centre might actually be in the NQ but you’d be forgiven for thinking you’re in NY with offerings like pecan and pumpkin pie. Grab a slice and sit by the window to really feel like the main character.

Right, we’ve made ourselves hungry now so we’re off to visit every Manchester café on the list and celebrate National Dessert Day appropriately.
