Drag Shows Coming to Manchester This Summer!
Everyone enjoys a drag show, if you say you don’t, you’re lying! A drag show is the best place to go with your mates because it’s such a fun time and you get to relax in an environment where anything goes! Manchester is one of the best places to treat yourself to a good drag show, they all showcase amazing local talent and queens who are familiar faces from our screens after being featured on Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
If you’re looking to add to your social calendar this summer, we’ve put together a list of what we think are the best drag shows coming to Manchester this summer!
Tuck In Drag Brunch
Performances from some of the UK’s top quality queens, whilst enjoying some amazing food is the ultimate combination for a good time. Tuck In hosts monthly drag shows in Manchester and is even known for being the UK’s best drag brunch! So if that doesn’t tell you anything, then you’re not interested in having a good time.
Tuck In drag brunches host amazing local favourites like Juno Birch, Liquorice Black, and Lady Bushra, as well as TV favourites Ginny Lemon and Baga Chipz.
Drag Race Holland Hits Manchester!
If you’re as Drag Race obsessed as we are, you’ve probably started watching all of the international spin-off series that we’ve been blessed with, and Manchester is about to be hit with one of the fan favourites from Drag Race Holland! The Countess has become an internationally known superstar thanks to the show, and we cannot wait to see what she brings to Manchester this summer.
The Countess is coming to Manchester’s Gay Village on the 2nd of July so make sure you get your tickets before they sell out!
Drag Fest
Drag Fest has become an annual event in the UK, with one day of the event taking place in London, and another up here in Manchester and this year, none other than international drag superstar Pabllo Vittar is the headline performer!
There will be other performances throughout the day by some unreal local Manchester drag queens, along with screen queens Jujubee, Victoria Scone, and many more! It’s going to be an unreal drag-filled day out, so make sure you get your tickets and start putting a fierce look together!
Drag Queen Bingo
Bongos Bingo not got enough queer energy for you? Then clear your bank holiday plans so you can go to the Jubilee Drag Queen Bingo in Deansgate, it’s going to be a night full of 80s, 90s, and 00s hits, cocktails, and camp vibes! Jubilee Bingo is hosted by local queen Ginger Hunter, so you know you’ll be in safe hands on the night. If you’re yet to make any bank holiday plans then get your tickets before it’s too late!
The Main Event
If you’re not done obsessing over Drag Race, then this summer the UK is going to be graced with the presence of some of the biggest stars to come out of Ru Paul’s Drag Race with The Main Event tour. It’ll feature some unreal queens that we all know and love such as Courtney Act, Manila Luzon, and Latrice Royale! If you’re a fan of drag then this is the place to be this summer.
