Meet Our #LuxeGal Jasmin Paris

We caught up with our #luxegal Jasmin Paris to talk about life in lockdown and find out exactly what it’s like to be a fashion influencer.

1. First things first: how’ve you been coping during lockdown?

I’ve been so bored, but I guess the movies and snacks have been helping me get through it!

2. So your style is one we are always crushin’ on, where do you draw your inspiration from?

My inspiration comes from many different people! I really like how Selena & Aaliyah used to dress, and also love Summer Walker’s style. I would say these women are the ones I look up to most when it comes to fashion.

3. We know your job means constantly having to be on top of the latest trends. How do you find being an influencer?

It is a lot harder than most people think, like any job really, but it’s something I enjoy doing a lot. Being an influencer, you get to connect with lots of famous people and get invited to events which are both really great. I can’t complain, I love it!

4. We love a girl boss, doll, but what job would you love to do if you weren’t an influencer?

If I wasn’t an influencer, my other career paths were either going to be in music or real estate, completely different I know.

5. So 2020 hasn’t quite gone to plan, especially when it comes to travelling! What 3 destinations are at the top of your bucket list?

I would say my top 3 destinations have to be Bali, Marrakesh and Dubai - they’re all such beautiful places!

6. Your makeup is always poppin’! What are some beauty products that you swear by?

I love the Technic Get Gorgeous highlighter. It’s definitely something I don’t think I’ll ever change, a little does A LOT.

7. I think it’s fair to say that our girl squad are total saviours when it comes to handling drama! What would you say is the best piece of advice you’ve received?

Don’t feed into drama & focus on the bagggg!

8. We’re always on the lookout for #luxegals, what influencer/influencers are you lovin’ ATM?

There’s definitely a lot of gorgeous upcoming influencers, but some that have really caught my eye are @__lorenalondonx, @nanaoduma and @xanamarlenex

9. There’s nothin’ nicer than putting your fave slippers on after a long day, right? How do you like to de-stress?

Laying down in front of a TV with a nice hot chocolate and a Telenovela drama is a bit of me.

10. And finally, what is one motivational quote you stand by?

Nobody can make you happy until you’re happy with yourself first.
