Plunge bodysuit

Plunge décolleté is one the sexiest looks a woman can give. But for sure it has its limits and rules to keep it in the right zone! And bodysuits are one of the clothing pieces in which the plunge is used frequently. Without knowing these rules, wearing a plunge bodysuit can lead to a fashion disaster than being sexy or fashionable! So let me tell you these rules and then you can go to that party of your friends, sexier than ever and more eye-catching anyone else. But first of all there are two topics that are also important in wearing a plunge bodysuit and they're your body shape and where to wear! Let's take a look at these two first:

But first of all there are two topics that are also important in wearing a plunge bodysuit and they're your body shape and where to wear! Let's take a look at these two first:

Body type

Let's be honest with ourselves. We may be overweight or skinny and there are different types of clothing for each body type and there's no need to deny our body imperfections! But well of course there are always exceptions in fashion world. There are always oversized women in fashion world that can use plunge perfectly. Look at Oprah! Her name is linked with plunge and for heaven's sake, is there anything sexier than her plunge décolleté?! And in other hand there are people who can give a sick look with an extreme use of plunge on skinny body like Lara Flynn. Let's accept this fact that for wearing a deep lunge you'd better be a little bit fleshy. So be logical about fashion and think before giving a deep décolleté on any part of your body. You should know your body before emphasizing on a particular part of it. Nudity isn't always being sexy. While using your body to show off, you should play to the viewers' eyes and should show your best parts most! For example, those women who have wide shoulders, however they have a nice chest and breast form, shouldn't wear a breast décolleté and better focus on open back or mini dresses (leg décolleté). The keyword to plunge clothes is the shoulder-line. If a wide shouldered woman displays her chest and wears a plunge, no matter how deep the plunge is, anyway she'll get a more sportive and even masculine look than being sexy or feminine. I'm also against wearing deep breast décolleté for those who have big breasts, because no matter what they do with that deep plunge, it makes them look cheap. But if you're Oprah then that's ok! ;-)

The place and the occasion

That's really important that where or in what condition you'll wear the suit. There's a thin line between being sexy and looking cheap. And that line depends on the details. Wearing a V-neck bodysuit long sleeve while working can show your self-confidence but if you don't keep its dosage normal, you'll be more likely underestimated. A black lace bodysuit would glam you up in a ball while a black plunge bodysuit would make you shine in the opening night of anyplace. But if you're going to a cocktail party in January, a black long sleeve bodysuit would be better. And if you're going to the red carpet of golden globes, then you can wear the deepest plunge ever! With no doubt, 2018 golden globe awards' best style was Issa Rae's plunging neckline in her black (#me too) gown, in my opinion. But well, if Issa wears the same dress at a birthday party, then I wouldn't sawell, if Issa wears the same dress at a birthday party, then I wouldn't say the same words as now! So you see the importance of the place you'll go with your deep plunge.

Rules of wearing plunge

In all the above sentences, all I was trying to say is that giving a nude look isn't just for catching the eyes and be sexy, and its meaning can easily change due to the place, time, details and the mood and atmosphere you're in. which is also called "suiting sexy to the occasion". For example; wearing a red lace bodysuit doesn't have to be for attracting the opposite gender or catching the eyes of the viewers. But if you don't pay attention to the details, you may seem like you're just trying to show it all for good. And for not getting into this problem, you should be careful not to do it all at once! Don't you what I mean? So let me explain:

Nude legs

Most stylists agree on this term that those women, who are afraid of wearing brave clothes, should start with wearing a leg décolleté dress. While showing the beauty of your legs, you should be careful with two things: "the black knees" and " the nude tops". For the black knees or cellulites due to weigh change, you can use whitening and tightening lotions and do workouts. You can see a good example of this in the Hollywood world where Gwyneth Paltrow's million dollar legs can give a joy heart attack to anyone looking and then recover with saying a "Meh!" looking at Lindsay Lohan's too much size changed legs. And about the nude tops, you probably know that plunge bodysuit lace can't look elegant with a miniskirt, but it will more look like a huge green light! So try to use the décolleté in just one part. Not giving a show of legs and arms and breasts and back and … remember, you're not going to a beach! If you have beautiful legs to show them off, then try to keep the upper parts covered. You can then lead the attentions to your wonderful legs.

Form of the breasts

The only trick in the nude chest is the new age bras. You know those little nipple covers or the supporting silicon ones. You can change your breast form easily with these invisible supporters. Did you know that even in Hollywood they use them? Yeah the beautiful actresses and singers aren't all 90 60 90 models! The first ones to use the supporter silicon bras were Jemmima Goldsmith, Natalia Vodianova and Kimberley Stewart. You can't believe it either, right? Neither did me, when I first heard this! I was like "Man, were they fake? Really? Those wonder boobs?!"

Neck, arms and back

I can't forget that open back dress Hilary Swank was wearing at the 77. Oscar awards. That open back which continued to her bottom line with an extremely covered up neckline. It was great. Not all girls dare to wear it but well, she does! If you too are a great fan of open backs, like Nicole Kidman, Christina Aguilera, Blake Lively, Heidi Klum or Jennifer Lopez, which is a nice feminine and at the same time kind of a sportive décolleté, you should try to learn from Hilary. Keep the front covered and don't use too mush accessories.

Do you remember that plunging neckline on Keira Knightley's dress in "Pride and Prejudice"? I can say that it was the nicest neck décolleté I've ever seen. It was the only piece of clothing that had the plunge neckline and open back at the same time and still was fantastic! By saying this, I mean that there are no absolutes in fashion! You can always wear exactly against the rules of fashion and still be a star.

So as a conclusion let's count the rules shortly in a paragraph:

Don't use too much of décolleté all at once ( for example if you want to give a deep chest show, wear a plunge bodysuit long sleeve with a flowing deep slash maxi or a tight mini skirt. Try to know your body and wear suitable for your propositions. Use supporting pieces for a better look and keep the dosage of sex-appeal due to the occasion!
