The Met Gala is finally here! After missing out last year on the indisputably biggest night in the fashion calendar, we are eager to see what our best dressed celebs are daring to wear, and what ensembles the designers have in store this year. Will the Met Gala 2021 be the best one yet? The Met Gala Theme this year is ‘‘in America: A Lexicon Of Fashion’’ the exhibition opens to the public at the Anna Wintour Costume Center on September 18th, and is held in its usual spot at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Lets not mess around, Kim Kardashian's Met Gala look is probably one of the most anticipated. With her holding a collection of previous impressive looks which have placed her on the fashion map. The Met Gala has been an opportunity for Kim K to show what she's capable of, (well, show what designers are capable of styling her in). Her last appearance was in a dripping wet look Thierry Mugler gown, which stunned the crowd. This years Met Gala look, takes a totally different approach and shows Kim sporting an all black Balenciaga, with matching train and mask. Is anonymity the most shocking element as we are so used to seeing celebs standing out, especially Kim? Is she simply demonstrating that we know exactly who she is without needing to show her face? Or is the message somewhat deeper? Nevertheless she's landed on the top spot for best Met Gala Looks 2021.

This isn't Rihannas first Met Gala Rodeo, we know she's gonna serve. Balenciaga again, with an all black ruffle, voluminous over coat. This iconic interpretation of American style is definitely one to remember. Accompanied with some large diamond jewellery to match her headpiece and earrings. RiRi really killed this Met Gala 2021 assignment, landing her on our best Met Gala Looks list.

Serving one of the best Met Gala looks is Gigi. She really stood out this year with her newly dyed red hair, styled into a high ponytail, flowing down over her shoulders, clipped at the top with a Prada brooch. The whole Met Gala Outfit emitted a look of Jessica Rabbit, which is very on theme. The supermodel wore a black and white sleeveless dress by Prada, with some black elbow length gloves. Simple and stunning, emitting a quality design.

Kendall’s Met Gala 2021 ensemble is inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s dress in My Fair Lady (very on topic). She wore a sheer gown embellished with rhinestones which left little to the imagination, however is one of the most elegant looking Met Gala dresses. The Givenchy dress was a glamorous show stopper, landing her on our best Met Gala looks list.

Grimes' futuristic Met Gala dress was inspired by American Author Frank Herbert’s novel Dune. The Design created by Iris Van Herpen resembles similar accents from her usual collections of outer worldly silhouettes. Grimes is the perfect match for this Met Gala Theme, and we’re here for it! The dress starts off with mirrored waves, to then join into an ombre skirt which fades from white to black giving it a feminine feel. Paired with a huge sword, silver mask and slick back up-do, this is one of the best Met Gala looks of 2021!

Supermodel Iman brought the boldest from the Met Gala dresses this year. She wore a gold tiered feathered dress underneath a gold patterned leg pant suit, which illuminated the night. The ‘feathers’ seem to be made from gold painted blonde hair? Paired with an outstanding matching headpiece, to create a truly phenomenal outfit. The Met Gala Dress was designed by Harris Reed with help from Dolce and Gabbana. This Met Gala Look seems to have stolen the show, and rightly so!
